The UCS Co-op hosts and collaborates with partners on a number of events each year.

Leading Change
Started in 2005, Leading Change is our biennial two-day event highlighting leadership in the non-profit sector. Anyone can be a leader, from volunteers and front-line staff to senior executives and Board Directors.

• Leading Change 2011: Playing with Change
  Our theme this year was Playing with Change – taking ideas and experimenting with them in an “innovation laboratory.” Participants brought their ideas, formed teams, and worked their ideas into a small project proposal with the help of our SCP mentoring team and the PM-Volunteers. Financial Fitness 101
The UCS Co-op and Vancity have partnered to hold two-day workshops throughout the year. Each workshop focuses on four key elements of operating a non-profit organization: cashflow, accounting, social enterprises, and common legal issues.

Canadian Nonprofit Innovators Network: Nonprofit InnovationCamp
The UCS Co-op is the proud delivery partner of the Canadian Nonprofit Innovators Network, a network of individuals across Canada who look for innovative ways to support the non-profit sector. The Nonprofit InnovationCamp brings people together in one place for two days to cross-pollinate ideas and make connections. The Network is supported year-round online at The *Spark.
